National Tribute Band Association (NTBA)
Code of Conduct & Member Behavior Guidelines
At the NTBA, our mission is to elevate and celebrate the tribute band community worldwide. To maintain professionalism, respect, and integrity across our network, all members and participants are expected to follow these guidelines:
Professionalism
- Always represent yourself, your band, and NTBA with integrity.
- Be punctual and prepared for performances, meetings, and events.
- Honor commitments made to venues, promoters, fellow bands, and fans.
Respect & Inclusivity
- Treat all members, fans, venues, and industry partners with respect.
- Embrace diversity in music, culture, and community.
- Discrimination, harassment, or abusive behavior will not be tolerated.
Collaboration & Community
- Support fellow tribute bands and NTBA members through encouragement and professionalism.
- Share opportunities rather than fostering unnecessary competition.
- Protect and promote the credibility of the tribute band industry.
Integrity in Business
- Conduct fair negotiations with venues, buyers, and partners.
- Do not misrepresent your act, experience, or capabilities.
- Respect contracts, intellectual property, and agreed-upon terms.
NTBA Representation
- When engaging under the NTBA name (online, on stage, in correspondence), ensure your conduct reflects positively on the organization.
- Avoid public disputes or online negativity that could damage the reputation of NTBA or its members.
Accountability
Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in review, warnings, suspension, or termination of NTBA membership.
